This very large antique Persian Lavar/Ravar Kerman rug from the late 19th century ahs been made by expert weavers of Southern Persia in the city of Raver, near Kerman. This amazing rug features a variegated teal, light blue green background of beautiful layered flowers and boteh design accompanied by various vertically arranged mini-medallions of skillfully drawn and masterfully woven flower pattern. The complementary borders feature various blossoming shrubs and flowers. The beautiful colors include shades of teal, blue, green, raspberry red, yellow and orange.
