A Classic design in a light color palette, this beautiful classic design was created in Amritsar India during the second quarter of 20th century. The yellow/green tones and salmon/pink hues of this vintage Indian Amritsar rug play off each other amidst floral patterns and designs. An expansive central medallion, with decorative pendants at either ends, spills onto the surrounding border. The encompassing field and cornices play host to a myriad of various delicate flora. The four-channel border displays various floral and geometric motifs that travel though in a repeating pattern.
