This antique Persian Malayer runner, circa early 20th century, relies heavily on exquisite details as well as all-over design. A fine trellis of beautifully colored flowers sprawls across the gray, light purple, lavender and light blue field. The intricate design imbues the rug with a beautiful articulation of pattern.
