This antique Persian gallery carpet, from the Hamadan district in western Persia, originated in the early 20th century and features an all-over sub geometric and floral motifs in midnight blue background and ivory border. the entire body of this unique distressed gallery rug is filled with unique floral and geometric elements in brick red, blue, green, yellow, salmon and ivory and is surrounded by a multitude of tribal and intricate geometrics in the layered border that frame the entire piece, each with their own unique and detailed design.
