This luxurious palace sized Oushak was hand knotted in India during the 2010's. The cool gray center field is home to the nature motifs rendered in Earthy shades of cream, clay, blue, russet, gold and brown. The wide banded ivory border also homes nature motifs, using more browns, earthy greens, blues, and yellows. Between the white and gray backgrounds lay a double-lined bronzy band, guarding either side of the border and creating a gorgeous contrast between the cool and warm tones. The earthy tones of this piece allow the golden brown accents to catch the eye and elevate this woven art.
