This early 20th century, handwoven antique Persian Heriz rug features a red-colored field imbued with three large tribal medallions. A beautifully drawn, multi-tiered, Sub-geometric border surrounds the entirety of the piece. This rug is woven on a wool foundation and has a soft, pliable handle. The articulation of the motifs is excellent and this rug features beautiful color quality, including red, gray, ivory, green, and charcoal.
