This decorative Persian Mahal relies heavily on exquisite details as well as an all-over design of entwined blossoms and palmettes. A fine trellis of beautifully colored large and small flowers sprawls across the central field and contrasting chocolate brown, pops of orange and ivory. A crisply drawn herati and the ivory detail of the palmettes, flowers and serrated leaves imbue the rug with a beautiful articulation of pattern.
