This exceptional antique Ziegler Sultanabad showcases a marvelous all over design design with large Palmettes and exquisite colors. Set on an Ivory background and red border, the fine trellis of richly colored palmettes and small flowers sprawl across field with contrasting reds, browns, blues, greens, gray blue, and ivories. The interaction between its captivating design and superb colors places this carpet among the exemplary and very best of antique Ziegler carpets. This rug is in Original shape and condition. There are natural abrash in the Ivory parts of this rug. The abrash areas, in faint gray blue, are original to the rug and are not re pile. This rug is in excellent original condition with no repairs nor any restorations.
