This spectacular and colorful Persian Tabriz rug, from the early 20th century Tabriz, bears magnificent splendor indicative of royal tastes, which sought perfection in balance and palette. The circular, script-style medallion displays various floral motifs and is complemented by two stretched palmettes at both ends of the rug. The orange field hosts a swirling garden of vining flowers and is held in place by flattering acid green cornices.
