This brilliant antique Turkish Oushak rug displays a glorious coloration paired with superlative all-over sub-geometric design. The delightful hues of red, blue, orange and gold work together to form a rich palette of contrasting colors. Numerous motifs are cleverly woven together in diagonal patterns to create a dynamic and eye-catching design. A variety of palmettes in various colors are set perfectly within the linear branches. The inner and outer guards consist of a running pattern of four leaf clover motifs while the inner border bears alternating sub-geometric designs of palmettes in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors.
