This colorful antique Mahal rug with Sultanabad qualities, relies heavily on exquisite details as well as detailed flowers and palmettes. A fine trellis of beautifully colored large and small flowers sprawls across the red field and surrounds the central medallion. Crisply drawn palmettes, flowers and serrated leaves imbue the rug with a beautiful articulation of pattern. This rug has dark brown border with dark charcoal gray corners.
