This gorgeous antique Sultanabad relies heavily on exquisite details as well as large-scale flowers and palmettes. A fine trellis of beautifully colored large and small flowers sprawls across the red field contrasting in ivory, red, blue, and light green. A crisply drawn arabesque and the ivory detail of the palmettes, flowers and serrated leaves imbue the rug with a beautiful articulation of pattern.
