This early 20th century, handwoven antique Persian Karadjeh rug features a rust red-colored field imbued with a stretched bright blue tribal medallion and four complementary blue cornices. A beautifully drawn sub-geometric border surrounds the entirety of the piece. This rug is woven on a wool foundation and has a soft, pliable handle. The articulation of the motifs is excellent and this rug features beautiful color quality.
