This wonderful early 20th century Persian Sarouk carpet features a masterfully woven light red field of large trees and a myriad of floral varieties woven in light blue, light green, tan, taupe, and brown. The wide border features multiple patterned stripes, and the central stripe contains large-scale flowers set on a light blue-charcoal background, flanked by multiple narrower borders with petite floral patterns.
