This midcentury, handwoven, antique Persian Serab rug features a brown-colored field imbued with an all-over lattice design and stretched red, yellow, and blue medallion. A beautifully drawn sub-geometric border surrounds the entirety of the piece. This rug is woven on a wool foundation and has a soft, pliable handle, typical of the earlier Serab rugs. The articulation of the motifs is excellent and this rug features beautiful color quality.
