Selected from our Masterpiece Collection, this magnificent carpet which beautifully illustrates the splendor of nineteenth century Persian design and craftsmanship was created in the city of Tabriz by the famous master, Haj Jalili. The brilliance of this masterwork lies in the stunningly fine weave which deceptively incorporates an incredible pallete of desirable colors. A simple medallion of minimal design in tones of midnight blue with hints of salmon and rust fills the neutral center field. An embracing broad geometric border contains a palette of raffia, midnight blue and salmon with subtle hints of mint green which bring together a remarkable display of design and skill.
